This maze called life, 2018
Sor Sen (born 1985) received his training from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts and subsequently a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in painting. Sen believes that his works are a bold release of internal feelings through colour, evocative linear strokes in order to awaken the viewers thought and sight faculties. His stylistic influences alternate between post impressionism, surrealism and abstract expressionism. His works are perceptive yet evocative conceptions, which dramatize his style. Aside painting, he also uses the camera as a vehicle in his quest to explore the state of humanity.
